When one of the leading architectural companies in the UK was commissioned to design a distinctive new bar, called The Alchemy, on the ground floor of Diageo’s London headquarters, they choose Corian as one of the main components in the refurbishment.

The Corian element in the bar design allowed Diorite to showcase their fabrication skills. This included the complexity of thermoforming, or bending, convex & concave radius panels. In addition to the complex shapes Diorite had to achieve, the decor specified was Lava Rock, a veined material chosen to create the fluid theme throughout the bar. Another challenge Diorite was more than willing to step up to & give the design team the interior environment they were hoping for.
