Diorite is manufactured under vacuum as opposed to many other solid
surfaces, which use an open-ended mixer. The advantage being Diorite
is void-free, thereby leaving no space for bacteria to grow.
In addition to the initial
cost saving benefits over our competitors, the material has proven
to be more durable, and hygienic than the traditional counter-top
materials. Critical to this environment Diorite has the benefit of seamless joints & consequently avoiding the potential for bacteria to hide.
